WHO ARE WE

DEFKUT Creations LLC was established in September 2008 in Estonia. It grew out of a previous company, D.R. Entertainment, located in Finland & Sweden. Even though the company is young, the founder and the management team have had over 12 years of experience within the entertainment field and music industry (since 1999). Currently, the majority of the company business activities takes form in Estonia and Finland.

We found ourselves gifted with the ability to provide excellent services and activities. Our expertise in the field of Entertainment allows us to offer our clients, services and products that enlighten the entertainment experience of their customers and consumers. The Company is as well engaged in additional activities, such as; music production, online marketing solutions, commercial ads, and design of low-cost videos.

Erick is the Executive Manager of the company. He has forged his career from an extensive "learning by doing" experience, and learning within the walls of several Universities across Europe. He is mostly dealing with the creative and innovative part of the company activities.

Merili OJA
Shareholder, Member of the Board

Merili is the Executive Assistant of the company. She has been actively engaged in the entertainment field since 2008. Graduating with a Master's degree in Law, she has an informed insight on the legal rules and regulations required in this field of business. She is in charge of the brand management and the regulatory part of the company.

DEFKUT Creations will capitalize on the growing entertainment, music and nightlife industry mainly across Estonia and Finland. Our core competencies are: diverse entertainment design, green-screen technology, and online-marketing solutions. On the one hand, our company provides low-cost Internet Shows and Music Videos, Event Planning, and Brand Management. On the other hand, our team designs commercial ads and provides support in finding the right channels and solutions to market our clients’ products.

ENTERTAINMENT DESIGN

At DEFKUT Creations, Entertainment Design is the activity that focuses on the planning of various events or programs and the management of brands. This competency spans from the ideation to the execution of the event or program including; concept design, market research, marketing channels, planning, project management.
Furthermore, brands management is an important area in the entertainment field, as a product or a service will most likely carry the trading skills and business ethics of the brand-owners. Therefore, understanding the strength of a brand is a must in a market where "image" convey a stronger message than "quality".

The Entertainment Design Team is strong with a portfolio of events and projects in 3 different countries (Finland / Estonia / France),and several co-productions and collaboration with different clients from over 9 countries within the last 12 years.
We consider our clients’ needs and the market demand while creating the most beneficial event, branding design or program.

GREEN ROOM

Providing the Chroma-Keying Technology service is our newest category. It is a technique for compositing two images or frames together, in which a colour from one image is removed, revealing another image behind it. Basically we film actors against a green screen and we replace the green with any other background. This technique opens a greater level of artistic and desinging freedom. It is not a replacement to traditional movie or video making, but merely a new approach to it

We are utilising this technique to design low-cost Internet Shows, Music Videos and Commercial Ads. All of those products include writing the script, finding the casting people, and shooting the video in our Green Room & editing it to create the final outcome. Green-screen is a way of getting a low-cost video with a great quality, which will increase as well your visibility on the market via the online channels, while keeping a low overall marketing cost...

We started the use of the Chroma-Keying Technology in 2010 with the project "DEFKUT on the Mic". There are already 6 videos (5 videos / 1 ads) using this technology. The MEDIA section displays some of the work.

ONLINE MARKETING

Online-Marketing Solution service is mostly related to the entertainment field. The team is providing support in finding the right channels and solutions to market your products, services or brands. We will create the concept for online visibility and provide the management of those marketing solutions. Furthermore we design commercial ads with the Chroma-Keying Technology from ideation to creation.

For the last 12 years we have been mostly building offline & Online Marketing Solutions as a part of the Entertainment Design. With the constant evolution of the Internet and the digital world, and a potential switch of the reliability of previous marketing channels (TV ads, Billboards, etc..), there is a crucial need to be present online. Online Marketing differs from offline marketing by the mean in which the information arrives to the consumers / customers.

EVENTS

is an event featuring an entertaining show. Rather it is DJS@WORK, MUSICIANS@WORK, SINGERS@WORK or DANCERS@WORK, be ready to experience something new and entertaining every time.

was established in July 2006 at the occasion of the French Independence day celebration. The most attractive part of the event is the fact that shows are always different with unique and original elements. It has always had an international flavour centred around R’n’B and Hip-Hop music.

is the biggest Latino & Jamaican Sound-System party in Estonia. It features the hottest Reggaeton & Dancehall Riddims with really sweet Urban blend! The nights are filled with guest-dj-s, artists, dancers, live drums & vocal sessions.

was established in 2004 in Helsinki. It was the residency event of the 5 Star Generals Artists & DJs crew from USA. It only featured International Artists /DJs and the musical trend was Groove, R'n'B and Hip Hop.

PROJECTS

With 12 years in the Urban music scene, DEFKUT, as an entertainer, is our longest running project. His skills-pallet includes: DJing, Producing & Song-writing. (www)

From a deep market research and after its development, DUMUDU will be the answer to the increasing demand for an online quality content, in respect to music.

In the 2007 Rauma Meren Juhannus (RMJ) festival, the company was in charge of the performers selection, planning, and management of the urban music stage.

Summer Time DJs@Work was a project developed and managed for the likes of Kultus during the summer 2007.

Musical Experience in Stereo was a new updated concept of Stereo-Lounge based on the selection of right DJ for the right time of the day, playing the right genre.
